For example, if the chip has a number like JRC4558DB or JRC4558Dg? All these chips with a letter after the D guarantee they have a dull finish not a glossy finish. If the JRC Op amp chip has a dull finish or has a letter after the number 4558D. These chips are very common and less desirable to a collector of TS-9âs.
